Cenote Minotauro provided an excellent setting for Kaetlyn and Sean’s Trash The Dress session. Hidden within the Riviera Maya jungle, the cenote offered stunning natural rock textures, crystal clear turquoise water, and a sacred atmosphere that was ancient and ethereal.
The session blended romance with adventure, giving the couple a wide array of cinematic backdrops for their unique newlywed session.
Kaetlyn and Sean strolled the expansive beach holding hands and dancing, then walked to the end of a long ocean pier, where pelicans perched, scanning the waters for their next meal. Next we moved into the jungle where ancient stone steps led down into a sacred cenote. Surrounded by roughly hewn rock walls, the cavern containing the cenote had an old bridge bordering one side.
As we stepped into the refreshingly cool water, curious schools of black minnows, swam around us, nibbling on toes and tickling bare skin.
The contrast between elegant wedding attire and the ageless raw beauty of the cenote, created a striking dynamic of how limitless timelines, transcend and merge the old and the new.
Cenote Minotauro offers a one-of-a-kind backdrop for couples looking for something adventurous and visually stunning. The combination of jungle scenery, sacred crystal-clear waters, and ancient rock textures, creates an unequaled setting for unique Riviera Maya photography.
