Madeline and Nick’s dream destination wedding at Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya was nestled in swaying palms, lush gardens, and the warm Caribbean breeze. They celebrated their love with family and friends in one of the most stunning wedding destinations in Mexico.

From the excitement of getting ready to the emotional “first look” and rocking reception, every moment of their day reflected the deep connection they share. Valentin Imperial provided a wonderful backdrop for a wedding filled with lots of laughter, happy tears, and countless memories that will last a lifetime.

A Romantic First Look + Simple Ceremony in Paradise

Madeline & Nick shared a romantic “first look” in the shade of a tropical tree forest, where they exchanged intimate vows they’d written, to share only with each other. Afterwards, we captured some wedding portraits highlighting their special bond, in picturesque spots around the resort.

They chose a casual ceremony right on the pristine sands of Valenitn’s beach, bordered by the famous azure Caribbean ocean, stretching to the horizon behind them. A trio of groomsmen-jokesters (aka flower girls) tossed flower petals into the air, lining the sandy aisle for Madeline to walk on. The unparalleled tropical scenery and beautifully simple setup, complemented the happy atmosphere of love in the air surrounding everyone.

As the couple shared their first kiss as newlyweds, cheers filled the air and marked the beginning of an incredible celebration.

One of the highlights of the day was exploring the resort’s gorgeous grounds for wedding portraits. Valentin Imperial offers a wide array of beautiful locations for stunning photography, from its grand architecture and lush gardens to the romantic walkways and spectacular beachfront views.

Celebrating Under the Stars

As the sun set over the resort, the party ramped up with a rocking evening reception of dining, dancing, and celebration. Delicious cuisine, roasting/toasting speeches, impressive dance moves, and flowing beverages were all part of many once-in-a-lifetime memories, to cherish long after everyone goes home.

Watching Madeline and Nick celebrate with the people they love most, was a beautiful reminder of what destination weddings are all about, and why this profession is my passion.
