It’s always special to reconnect with couples I’ve photographed, but Shanna and Nazeem’s story holds a particularly special place in my heart. A few years ago, I had the honor of capturing their beautiful Hindu wedding in Mexico, and since then, we’ve become great friends. Whether it’s meeting up for a drink when they visit the Riviera Maya or catching up in New York, our bond has grown beyond just photography. So, when Shanna and Nazeem reached out to capture their maternity session in Puerto Morelos, it felt like documenting yet another beautiful chapter in their love story.

Puerto Morelos, with its peaceful beaches and quiet charm, was the perfect backdrop for this maternity session. Shanna and Nazeem’s excitement for this new chapter in their lives was palpable, and the serene beauty of the location complemented the intimate and heartfelt moments we captured.
