Just as Cameryn graduated early from Baylor University in Texas and was getting ready to move to Ohio, she met Ivan who was so smitten with her, he followed her across the country to visit her there on his spring break. As luck would have it, that was when the pandemic lockdown hit and their new spark ignited into them becoming inseparable. They moved back to Texas soon after, and rented an apartment together. 
Since they’d vacationed in Cancun twice, it held a very special place in their hearts, so when the time came, it was their top location choice for a dream destination wedding! 

They picked the ​romantic Royalton Riviera Cancun​ ​for their venue, which ​p​rovided a breathtaking​ backdrop for their Big Day.

From the moment Cameryn slipped into her elegant lace gown to the emotional vows shared on the Royalton’s signature rooftop pagoda decked out in tropical flowers and billowing curtains, this day was all about connection, joy, and the kind of love that lights up a room. Overlooking the azure Caribbean Sea, their closest family and friends witnessed these two saying “I do” in a stunning rooftop ceremony shaded by the pagoda’s slatted roof and cooled by lofty tropical breezes.

The Royalton Riviera Cancun offered the perfect backdrop — endless ocean views, chic tropical decor, and golden hour light that made every photo glow. Seranaded by a mariachi band, their ​first dance was highlighted by soaring sparklers erupting as Ivan dipped Cameryn in a dramatic kiss. The el fresco reception​ under the stars was lit up by twinkling lights above, and a rocking dance floor on the sand, lit up with changing colours. Spontaneous laughter filled the air, and epic dancing went non-stop, as Cameryn & Ivan surfed above it all, being lifted by the crowd in an airborne celebration…mosh pit style! 

Cameryn and Ivan’s chemistry was undeniable, and ​f​reeze framing their love story in this ​r​omantic setting was an absolute honor. Every detail — from the ​unique tropical ambiance to their ​​”on fire” celebration — told a story of​ their profound connection, deep love and ​s​ense of adventure.​ What a journey lies ahead for these two…..wow!
